Games, locally grown.

Barnyard Greens is a small game studio in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Right now we’re heads-down on our first title.

In‑engineAn island our terrain system grew for Swarm Fest.

Swarm Fest

An action-roguelike on wheels.

You don’t play the hero — you draft a self-fighting machine from loot, and moving is aiming.

A steep volcanic island generated in the Swarm Fest engine, its dark ridgeline half-swallowed by a low cloud deck, with rivers and palm forest running down to a pale shoreline.
  • You build a machine, not a character. Minions, auras, orbitals, turrets and chain-procs do the fighting — you assemble them on the fly.
  • Positioning is the whole skill. Everything anchors to your body, so standing in the right place is the game.
  • Your machine learns. Program it with simple if-then rules you keep forever — the one thing death never takes.

Action-roguelike · Automation · Build-craft · Singleplayer · Controller-friendly

We’re a small independent studio making the games we want to play: systems-first, deep where you want depth, simple where you don’t.

And yes — Barnyard Greens started life as a microgreens farm. The name (and the domain) stayed. We still like things that grow.
